You will assess cases, develop care plans, and provide intervention and

Responsibilities :

  • Assess the needs and risks of children and families through
    comprehensive evaluations.
  • Develop and implement care plans based on assessments, to ensure the
    safety and well-being of children.
  • Provide counselling and support services to children and families,
    addressing emotional, behavioural, and developmental issues.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists,
    educators, and healthcare providers, to coordinate services and
    interventions.
  • Advocate for the rights and best interests of children, ensuring their
    voices are heard and respected.
  • Participate in case conferences, court hearings, and meetings related
    to the well-being of children.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of case activities and
    progress.
  • Stay updated with relevant laws, policies, and best practices in
    children’s welfare and social work.

Requirements : 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Children’s Social Worker.
  • Proficient rating based on the Professional Education Qualifications
    (PEQ).
  • Strong knowledge of child development, behavioral issues, and social
    work principles.
  • Excellent assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity in working with diverse
    populations.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and professional ethics
    in social work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work or a related field is
    required.
